After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wood County Christian, Richwood was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They skirted past the Meadow Bridge Wildcats 34-32. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Lumberjacks have posted since February 14, 2024.
Loss or not, Meadow Bridge got some senior leadership from Kierston Rozell and Kaitlin Cooper. Rozell posted 12 points and five boards, while Cooper put up eight points and 11 rebounds. Those 11 rebounds gave Cooper a new career-high.
Richwood's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Meadow Bridge, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.
