After a string of seven wins, Menomonee Falls's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Mukwonago Indians by a score of 2-1. The Phoenix were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Kaylee Harder paced Menomonee Falls' offense, picking up 15 kills. Harder got some help from Quinn Ische and her 23 assists.

Menomonee Falls' loss dropped their record down to 29-9. As for Mukwonago, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-19 record this season.
