Basketball Recap: Nipmuc Regional Takes a Loss

Nipmuc Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 48-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Advanced Math & Science Academy Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 228th, while the Eagles are ranked 62nd).

Nipmuc Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Advanced Math & Science Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-4.

Nipmuc Regional didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 50-18 loss against Quabbin Regional on the 18th. Advanced Math & Science Academy has also already played their next contest (against Auburn), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
