Softball Recap: Branford Comes Up Short

The Branford Hornets lost 15-3 to the Pomperaug Panthers on Tuesday. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sophia Rasile made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Branford's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Pomperaug, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Branford will challenge North Haven at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pomperaug, they will take on Bethel at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
