Firth has been on a difficult stretch since their win on August 23. They came up short against the American Falls Beavers on Friday, falling 4-1. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Firth couldn't quite close it out.

Firth's loss dropped their record down to 1-7-2. As for American Falls, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Firth and American Falls will both be playing Marsh Valley the next time they take the pitch. The Cougars will host the Eagles at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Beavers will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
