Volleyball Recap: Milton-Union Comes Up Short

Milton-Union lost against Lehman Catholic back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs lost 3-0 to the Cavaliers. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-14, 25-17.

Lehman Catholic was led to victory by Eden Westerheide and Lilly Graham. Westerheide had nine digs and two aces, while Graham had 14 digs. Graham has been hot, having posted 14 or more digs the last five times she's played.

Milton-Union's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lehman Catholic, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Coincidentally, Milton-Union and Lehman Catholic will both be playing Miami East the next time they take the court. The Cavaliers will head out to face the Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bulldogs will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
