Softball Recap: Elkhart Takes a Loss

Elkhart was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 29-0 to the Southwestern Heights Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 26-0 on Tuesday.

Elkhart's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11-1. As for Southwestern Heights, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Elkhart will venture away from home to challenge Syracuse at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Southwestern Heights, they will challenge Holcomb at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Mustangs are facing the Longhorns at the right time seeing as the Longhorns are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
