Softball Recap: Reagan Ryan Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Myers Park

Charlotte Catholic won the last time they faced Myers Park and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Cougars came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 5-1 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).

Rachel Wildman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Charlotte Catholic saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reagan Ryan, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Katherine Fegyversi was another, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Ryan wasn't the only one making solid contact: Charlotte Catholic kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. The Cougars are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
