The Atlantic Eagles will face off against the Pembroke Pines Charter Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Atlantic knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 16 contests -- so hopefully Pembroke Pines Charter likes a good challenge.
Atlantic heads in on the heels of a playoff match on Friday. They were dealt a 101-71 defeat at the hands of Blanche Ely. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 235th, while the Tigers are ranked 36th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pembroke Pines Charter). Everything went their way against Archbishop McCarthy on Friday as Pembroke Pines Charter made off with an 83-58 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Jaguars.
Atlantic better keep an eye on Robert Guishard. He was instrumental in Pembroke Pines Charter's win, dropping a double-double with 36 points and 20 boards. Guishard is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last six games he's played. Maximo Ortega was another key player, dropping a triple-double with 19 points, ten rebounds, and 11 assists.
Pembroke Pines Charter smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in three consecutive games.

Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Atlantic has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 23.3 boards per game. However, it's not like Pembroke Pines Charter struggles in that department as they've been averaging 30 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
