Football Recap: Seminole Ridge Takes a Loss

Seminole Ridge lost against Royal Palm Beach back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hawks fell 38-28 to the Wildcats.

Tyree Pearson produced another solid performance rushing for 218 yards and two scores while picking up 9.1 yards per carry for Royal Palm Beach. Pearson is becoming a predictor of the Wildcats' success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is 5-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

Seminole Ridge has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Royal Palm Beach, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seminole Ridge will square off against Wellington at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Royal Palm Beach, they will challenge Dr. Joaquin Garcia at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
