Basketball Recap: North Cobb Extends Winning Streak to Three

North Cobb waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They snuck past the Model Blue Devils with a 40-35 win. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Blue Devils back in November, they had to take a 38-30 defeat.

North Cobb has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season. As for Model, their loss dropped their record down to 10-2.

North Cobb and Model should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. North Cobb (ranked 150th) will meet Kennesaw Mountain (ranked 392nd) at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Model will face off against McEachern at 4:00 p.m. on Monday up 214 places (56 vs. 270).
