Basketball Recap: Friday's Win Is Rossville's Sixth in Last Eight Outings

If Clinton Central wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Rossville, they should've done a better job of containing Brayden Thiele-Hahn. The Rossville Hornets put the hurt on the Clinton Central Bulldogs with a sharp 64-44 win on Friday thanks in part to Thiele-Hahn, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. The match was his third in a row with at least ten points.

Lucas Saylor was another key player, putting up nine points and three steals. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

Rossville is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Clinton Central, their loss was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-12.

Rossville has already played their next contest, a 61-47 victory against Seeger on the 25th. Clinton Central has also already played their next matchup (against Frankfort), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
