Basketball Recap: Medina/Pingree-Buchanan Drops Season-High Score on Strasburg/Zeeland

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Medina/Pingree-Buchanan). They breezed past the Strasburg/Zeeland Clippers to the tune of 83-49 on Thursday. Medina/Pingree-Buchanan has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 22 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Medina/Pingree-Buchanan to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gage Hofmann, who posted 17 points. Medina/Pingree-Buchanan is 3-1 when Hofmann posts 15 or more points, but 5-8 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Terek Kinzell, who scored 15 points.

Medina/Pingree-Buchanan has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-9 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.7 points. As for Strasburg/Zeeland, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.

Medina/Pingree-Buchanan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 71-56 loss against Oakes on the 18th. Strasburg/Zeeland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
