It was a good run, but Brookings-Harbor unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They lost 12-2 to the Dayton Pirates. If the Bruins were looking for revenge after losing 14-1 to the Pirates when the teams met back in March of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Brookings-Harbor's loss dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Dayton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-4 record this season.

Brookings-Harbor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dayton, they will host Banks at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Braves have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season.
