Basketball Recap: Paideia Comes Up Short

Paideia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 74-28 defeat at the hands of the Hillgrove Hawks. The matchup marked the Pythons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Paideia's record now sits at 2-10. As for Hillgrove, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.

Paideia will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on King's Ridge Christian at 5:30 p.m. on January 9, 2026. As for Hillgrove, they will be home for the holidays to greet Pebblebrook at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
