Zion-Benton gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They walked away with a 32-20 victory over the North Chicago Warhawks. The Zee-Bees pushed the score to 32-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Warhawks cut but never quite recovered from.

Looking ahead, Zion-Benton is headed away from home for the first time to square off against Rich Township at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Chicago, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Waukegan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
