Soccer Recap: R-S Central Takes a Loss + How To Watch

R-S Central was the 2-0 winner over McDowell when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Hilltoppers came up short against the Titans on Wednesday, falling 7-0. Things got a bit chippy out on the turf as both teams were handed red cards: R-S Central's Dennis Ramos and McDowell's Angel Guardian.

This is the second loss in a row for R-S Central and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for McDowell, they now have a winning record of 1-0-1.

Looking ahead, R-S Central is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on Polk County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. McDowell will be paying especially close attention to the Hilltoppers' match: after the Hilltoppers face off against Enka, they'll take on McDowell again at 6:00 p.m. on September 8.
