Volleyball Recap: Hayes Extends Winning Streak to Three

Hayes entered their tilt with Ridgedale on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Rockets. The Pacers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rockets, too.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Hayes was: they took both sets by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-9.

Macy Harvey paced Hayes' offense, picking up eight kills. Harvey got some help from Mara Tope and her 19 assists. Maya McCoy controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Hayes' record now sits at 3-0. As for Ridgedale, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Hayes didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Pleasant on the 23rd. As for Ridgedale, they will welcome Perry at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
