Soccer Game Preview: Jordan vs. Tompkins

Jordan is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Tompkins Falcons at 7:15 p.m. Jordan's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Jordan's offense. They fell just short of Cypress Woods by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. The loss put an end to Jordan's undefeated start to the season.

Meanwhile, Tompkins had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They never let Fulshear get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory on Friday.

Having lost for the first time this season, Jordan fell to 1-1-1. As for Tompkins, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.

Jordan was able to grind out a solid victory over Tompkins in their previous meeting back in February of 2025, winning 2-0. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Falcons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
