Softball Recap: New Washington Comes Up Short

New Washington fell victim to Lanesville and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 10-0 to the Eagles. The Mustangs have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

New Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Lanesville, they pushed their record up to 5-11 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, New Washington will square off against Borden at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lanesville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tell City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
