Softball Recap: Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Wins Going Away Against Madelia

Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Madelia, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Mustangs put the hurt on the Blackhawks with a sharp 9-1 win on Friday. The Mustangs not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since May 10, 2024.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Elizabeth Ovitt, who scored two runs and stole seven bases while going 3-for-4. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.7 stolen bases per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Jozlyn Kramer, who scored two runs and stole four bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
