Baseball Recap: White Knoll Comes Up Short

White Knoll was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 8-5 to the Dutch Fork Silver Foxes. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Timberwolves of the 8-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Dillon Woods stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: he scored two runs while going 2-for-4. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Chance Culley was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

White Knoll's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Dutch Fork, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

While White Knoll had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
