Gresham extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Liam Arnold. The Gophers came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 27-21 W against the Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts Mustangs for which the team can thank Arnold, who rushed for 142 yards and a pair of TDs, and also threw for 111 yards on only ten passes. Gresham is 3-1 when Arnold posts 100 or more rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise.

Gresham didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Hezekiah Schab and Arnold. Arnold's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 142 rushing yards.

Gresham now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Gresham wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 14-7 victory against Centennial on the 24th. As for Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 27-22 win against La Salle on the 24th.
