Cloquet extended their losing streak to six on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 1-6 in the process. They fell 10-7 to the Hermantown Hawks. On the bright side, the seven- run performance marked the Lumberjacks' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Brody Dushkin made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Luca Gentilini, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

As for Hermantown, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3. Their offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.

On Hermantown's side, the team relied heavily on River Freeman, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. Cam Lukovsky was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs.
