Soccer Game Preview: Caesar Rodney vs. Polytech + How To Watch

The Caesar Rodney Riders will take on the Polytech Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Caesar Rodney's defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Polytech's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Caesar Rodney is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Delaware's top teams: Delmar, who was ranked 15th at the time (Caesar Rodney was ranked third). The Riders and the Wildcats finished up their matchup with a 0-0 draw on Thursday. The result kept Caesar Rodney happy, as they haven't lost a game since April 1st.

Meanwhile, Polytech came into Thursday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Lake Forest 2-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Caesar Rodney's draw makes their record 8-1-3 this season. As for Polytech, their win bumped their record up to 3-9-1.
