Volleyball Recap: Combs Comes Up Short

Combs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the ALA - Gilbert North Eagles, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on April 8th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-13, 25-10.

Combs' defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for ALA - Gilbert North, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That somehow still isn't as good as their 29-7 record this season.

Combs didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Amphitheater on the 29th. As for ALA - Gilbert North, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Higley on the 28th.
