Baseball Game Preview: Baylor Red Raiders vs. Dale Pirates

The Baylor Red Raiders will square off against the Dale Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Baylor will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Baylor's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on Hilldale with a sharp 13-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Red Raiders, who have now won four games by nine runs or more so far this season.

Matt Dill tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Blake Lundy was a standout: he went 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI. Sam Godbout was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one home run and two runs.
