The South Harrison Hawks are on the road again on Friday to play the Wayne Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Last Friday, South Harrison humbled Gilmer County with a 61-18 victory. That 43 point margin sets a new team best for the Hawks this season.

South Harrison found their leader in sophomore Jaden Hatfield, who rushed for 231 yards and five touchdowns on only 14 carries. Hatfield's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 106 rushing yards. Another player making a difference was Zane Harlow, who rushed for 75 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.

South Harrison was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 406 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 322 rushing yards in three consecutive contests.

South Harrison's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB six times. Charles Langford was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up 2.5 sacks himself.
