Volleyball Recap: Butler County Bears vs. Metcalfe County Hornets
Butler County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell just short of the Metcalfe County Hornets by a score of 1-0. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played last Saturday.
Butler County was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 12 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-12.
Butler County's loss dropped their record down to 3-24. As for Metcalfe County, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 10-18 record.
Butler County will take on Ohio County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Metcalfe County, they will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Campbellsville at 7:30 p.m.
