Volleyball Recap: Chickasha Takes a Loss

Chickasha lost against Weatherford back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Fighting Chicks lost 3-0 to the Eagles. The Fighting Chicks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Chickasha was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-20, 25-21.

KK Willard paced Chickasha's offense, picking up ten kills. Willard got some help from Zoee Jones and her 17 assists. Finally, Willard was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Chickasha's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Weatherford, the win was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-1.

Coming up, Chickasha will face off against Cache at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Weatherford, they will challenge El Reno at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
