After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Kingstown, Chariho was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Cranston East Thunderbolts as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Chargers in their matchups with the Thunderbolts: they've now won four in a row.
The final score came out to 25-11, 25-21, 25-14.
Kaitlyn Smallridge was the offensive standout of the match as she had seven aces and five digs. Josie Mastin also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.
They weren't the only good servers: Chariho was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 12 consecutive matchups.
