Soccer Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss

If Franklin was riding high fresh off their 7-1 takedown of Waukesha North last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Sabers fell just short of the Kenosha Tremper Trojans by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Franklin couldn't quite close it out.

Franklin's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1-1 and their overall record down to 6-2-2. As for Kenosha Tremper, the win keeps they at an undefeated 9-0-1.

Coming up, Franklin will take on Union Grove at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Franklin's defense better be ready for this one: Union Grove have averaged an impressive 2.9 goals per game this season. As for Kenosha Tremper, they will face off against Waterford at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
