Volleyball Game Preview: Wareham Vikings vs. Holbrook Bulldogs

Wareham is a perfect 4-0 against Holbrook since September of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Vikings will welcome the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Monday, Wareham was able to grind out a solid win over Upper Cape Cod RVT, taking the game 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won six in a row.

Wareham had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-15, 25-12, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Holbrook earned a 3-1 win over Blue Hills RVT on Monday.

Wareham's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Holbrook, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Wareham came out on top in a nail-biter against Holbrook in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Do the Vikings have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
