Soccer Recap: Rocklin Starts off Right with Win over Grant

Rocklin had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. Their defense stepped up to hand the Grant Pacers a 1-0 shutout. Jovan Radovic had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Rocklin.

Grant now has a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Rocklin will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Ukiah at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Grant, they will square off against Roosevelt at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Roosevelt will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last.
