Haddam-Killingworth and Hale Ray are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2017, but likely not for long. The Cougars will venture away from home to challenge the Noises at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Haddam-Killingworth is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.

Lily Jahne made a big impact no matter where she played. In other batting news, Maggie Janecek was a standout: she went 3-for-5 with six RBI, two triples, and two runs. Autumn Landry also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
Hale Ray pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average this season. As for Haddam-Killingworth, their record now sits at 3-0.
Wednesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Haddam-Killingworth has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .568. However, it's not like Hale Ray struggles in that department as they've averaged .434. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
