After a string of four wins, Saranac's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell to the Peru Nighthawks 58-52. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-48 back in January.

Saranac's loss dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Peru, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

Saranac will welcome Plattsburgh at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Peru, they will head out to square off against Beekmantown at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Beekmantown comes in on five and Peru on three.
