Basketball Recap: Azle Takes a Loss

Azle suffered their biggest loss since November 25, 2024 on Saturday. They came up short against the Aledo Bearcats, falling 81-59. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Bearcats recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Azle's defeat dropped their record down to 10-17. As for Aledo, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-4.

When Azle and Aledo next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Azle will try to stop Chisholm Trail's six-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Azle is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.3 points per game this season. Meanwhile, Aledo will take on Brewer and their three-game winning streak at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
