Soccer Recap: North Port Takes a Loss

North Port and Venice squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but North Port had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Venice Indians by a score of 1-0. The Bobcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

With the defeat, North Port broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-7. As for Venice, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4-1 record this season.

North Port does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Venice has also already played their next match, a 1-0 loss against Riverview Sarasota on the 30th.
