Basketball Game Preview: Granger Spartans vs. Tri-Cities Prep Jaguars

Granger is 0-5 against Tri-Cities Prep since June of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Granger Spartans will venture away from home to take on the Tri-Cities Prep Jaguars at 7:30 p.m.

On Saturday, Granger came up short against Warden and fell 61-52. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Tri-Cities Prep waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 74-55 win over the Cougars. Given the Jaguars' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 49th, while the Cougars are ranked 267th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tri-Cities Prep is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. As for Granger, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.

Granger was dealt a bruising 74-41 defeat at the hands of Tri-Cities Prep when the teams last played two weeks ago. Can Granger avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
