Softball Recap: Plymouth Comes Up Short

Plymouth suffered their biggest loss since April 4th on Wednesday. They came up short against the Howell Highlanders, falling 12-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Highlanders: they've now lost three in a row.

Plymouth saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hannah Simko, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Plymouth's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Howell, they pushed their record up to 18-12-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home.

Coming up, Plymouth will face off against Canton Preparatory at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Howell, they will be taking part in a tournament against Northwest at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
