Baseball Recap: Holcomb Takes a Loss

Holcomb was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 9-4 to the Twin Rivers Royals. If the Hornets were looking for revenge after losing 12-1 to the Royals when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Holcomb's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Twin Rivers, their victory bumped their record up to 13-7.

Twin Rivers has already played their next match (against Senath-Hornersville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Holcomb will be paying especially close attention to the Royals' game: after the Royals face off against the Lions, they'll take on Holcomb again at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
