Soccer Recap: Cumberland Takes a Loss

Cumberland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They lost 4-1 to the Buckingham Knights. Cumberland fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against Buckingham since on Tuesday.

Cumberland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Buckingham, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cumberland will welcome Prince Edward County at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cumberland's defense better be ready for this one: Prince Edward County have averaged an impressive 3.1 goals per game this season. As for Buckingham, they will host Amelia County at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Buckingham will be up against Amelia County's rather soft defense (which has allowed four goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
