Volleyball Recap: Old Plank Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Old Plank Christian Academy lost against St. Joseph Academy back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Defenders took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Flashes. The Defenders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Old Plank Christian Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-23.

St. Joseph Academy can attribute much of their success to Suzi Valbuena, who had 13 assists and six aces.

Old Plank Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for St. Joseph Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Old Plank Christian Academy has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Seven Rivers Christian on the 22nd. As for St. Joseph Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Foundation Christian Academy on the 22nd.
