            Softball Recap: Farragut Admirals vs. Alcoa Tornadoes        
        
		
        
        
            Farragut faced Alcoa in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Admirals fell just short of the Tornadoes by a score of  5-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tornadoes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  10-0  on April 9th.
 Farragut saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Hallie Grace Johnson, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with two  RBI and one  double. Another  was  Elsa Morrison, who  got on base  in both of her plate appearances with two  runs.
Farragut's loss dropped their record down to 22-8-1. As for Alcoa, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 21 of their last 24 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-6-1 record  this season.
 Coincidentally, Farragut and Alcoa will both be playing Tazewell the next time they take the field. The Tornadoes will head out to face the Bulldogs at 11:30  a.m.  on Saturday, while the Admirals will play them later in the day, at 1:00  p.m.
