Softball Recap: Lincoln Patriots vs. Rapid City Central Cobblers

Lincoln put the finishing touches on their 11th blowout victory of the season on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 15-4 margin over the Rapid City Central Cobblers. The win was just business as usual For Lincoln, who after 14 games remain undefeated this season.

For Rapid City Central's part, Marielle Colhoff made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaelyn Elias, who went 3-for-3 with an RBI.

Lincoln's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-0. As for Rapid City Central, they haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-14.

Lincoln will head out on the road to face off against Spearfish at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
