Basketball Game Preview: Toombs County Bulldogs vs. Dublin Fighting Irish

Having just played yesterday, the Toombs County Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Dublin Fighting Irish at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Toombs County is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak.

On Monday, Toombs County came up short against Savannah Country Day and fell 53-41. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 444th, while the Hornets are ranked 160th).

Dublin fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came out on top against West Laurens by a score of 48-40 on Saturday.

Dublin's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Toombs County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.

Toombs County was taken down by Dublin 62-30 in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Thankfully for Toombs County, Tahara Diallo (who almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
