It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Northwood Chargers had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Stallions as they made off with a 75-52 win. Northwood has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 24 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Drake Powell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. Jake Leighton was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.

Despite the defeat, Southeast Alamance saw an underclassman step up: Davian Edwards scored 16 points. Edwards hasn't dropped below 15 points for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jerry Sims, who scored 16 points.

The win was the 15th in a row for Northwood, bringing their record for this year to 27-3. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 37.3 points. As for Southeast Alamance, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-12.

Northwood will head out on the road to square off against Farmville Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Farmville Central knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 29 games -- so hopefully Northwood likes a good challenge. Southeast Alamance does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
