Basketball Recap: Mescalero Apache Takes a Loss

Mescalero Apache has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 37-30 to the Eunice Cardinals on Monday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chiefs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 59-49 last Friday.

Mescalero Apache's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Eunice, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mescalero Apache will take on Texico at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Eunice, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Eunice Cardinals take on the Tularosa Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
