McKinleyville is a perfect 10-0 against Arcata since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Tigers at 11:00 a.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

McKinleyville is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 16 runs on Saturday, they were much more limited against Del Norte on Wednesday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 7-1.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 13 runs the game before, Arcata was a bit more limited in their matchup on Wednesday. They lost 7-1 to Fortuna. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Huskies recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Arcata's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for McKinleyville, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.
