Baseball Game Preview: Norco Cougars vs. Pacifica Mariners

The Norco Cougars are headed away from home for the first time to challenge the Pacifica Mariners at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Norco's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over Great Oak. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Norco got a massive performance out of Jayden Serna, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave Serna a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Dylan Seward, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.

Norco was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Great Oak only posted a batting average of .048.

Meanwhile, Pacifica had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They skirted past Centennial 3-1.
